If you’re someone who craves a life of freedom and yet you feel like you’re still stuck in a hellish prison, then you’re probably looking for it in the wrong place.
Many people who seek a life where they can do what they want, when they want, with no worries about things like time, money, or other obligations, believe that the path to obtaining this type of lifestyle lies in things like passive income, slaving away at a high-paying job they hate so they can retire early, or sacrificing things like being in a relationship or having a family.
Now I’m not saying these things can’t get you freedom. In fact, many people before you have gone this route and eventually got what they wanted. However, the key word is, eventually.
What if I told you, there’s an easier and faster way? A guaranteed way in which you can have freedom right this very second?
You see, the thing to understand about freedom is that freedom, is primarily a state of mind. If freedom could only come from having things like money or more time then no rich person who doesn’t have to work a day in their life would ever feel stuck, and we both know thats not the case. If you suddenly come across enough money to last you the rest of your life, you could easily still feel imprisoned, maybe by something such as feeling that you now have a responsibility to support your less fortunate family members.
So how can you achieve a state of freedom without things like more money or time?
Rather than focusing on where freedom isn’t, start drawing your attention to where freedom is. Did you have the freedom to choose what you are wearing today? Did you have the freedom to choose what you ate for breakfast?
Freedom is always around, but when you seek it where it isn’t, you only push it further away. Every time you think about how much you don’t feel free, you add more momentum towards only experiencing circumstances that continue to give you evidence of a lack of freedom.
If you start tuning into where freedom is, you add momentum towards fully receiving it in all areas of your life. When your energy state says, “I am free,” you attract the kinds of circumstances into your life that reflect that freedom back to you.
I know it sounds counter-intuitive, but embodying an internal state of freedom before your external, physical reality shows you evidence of this, is exactly how you create the freedom lifestyle you are seeking. Not the other way around as most of us have been taught to believe.
