Anyone else hate how the TV ruins a nice minimalist living room?
Hi guys, my living room finally looks decent after the reno but that massive TV just sits there staring at me like an accusation when it’s off. Anyone found a clean way to make it disappear completely until you actually want to watch something, ideally with some smart-home integration?

Totally feel you – it’s the one thing that kills the vibe every time. The cleanest solution I’ve seen is a motorized lift that hides the TV inside a cabinet or console and pops it up on command. Super satisfying. For a really solid selection of those mechanisms (different sizes, speeds, even ones that sync with Alexa/Google), check out this home automation tv lift https://www.progressiveautomations.com/en-eu/collections/tv-lifts . I went with one last year and it still feels like magic every single time.
