Tango Women's Circle

A Container for Women Navigating Tango, Themselves, and Community

Tango is not only how we dance.

It’s how we navigate invitation and choice, respond to rejection, negotiate closeness, express our femininity, use our voice, and take up space within a shared social environment.

On the dance floor, patterns around visibility, desire, comparison, confidence, insecurity, and our relationship to femininity often rise to the surface. Yet these dynamics rarely begin there — they reflect deeper relational patterns many of us carry into our lives, our communities, and our sense of self.

Tango Women’s Circle is a facilitated container where women can explore these experiences together with curiosity and compassion.

Through guided reflection, somatic awareness, and intentional conversation, the sessions offer an opportunity to gently explore how tango mirrors our relational patterns — and how we might move through them with greater clarity, confidence, and embodied presence.

The work unfolds through both online gatherings and immersive experiences offered throughout the year.

At its heart, this circle is an opportunity to connect with other women navigating similar questions. It is a supportive environment where we hold space for one another — a place where you are welcome to share your experiences and be heard.

And if you feel shy about speaking, that is completely welcome too. Listening, reflecting, and simply being present are also meaningful ways to participate.

Women's Circle - Live Online

Wednesdays, April 15, 22, 29 and May 6 | 6:30-7:45pm EST

Live Online via Zoom

A 4-week guided Women’s Circle designed as the foundational layer of this work.

Each session is intentionally led, thoughtfully paced, and carefully supported — weaving structured facilitation, focused themes, somatic awareness, and meaningful dialogue.

Across four weeks, we explore the full spectrum of experiences many women encounter in tango and in life, including:

  • Nervous system safety and belonging

  • Saying no and honoring preference

  • Using your voice in partnership

  • Desire, magnetism, and being chosen

  • Initiation vs waiting

  • Boundaries in embrace and beyond

  • Body image, aging, and visibility

  • Comparison, insecurity, and confidence

  • Feminine presence and embodied power

  • Stability, grounding, and how we take up space

This is both guided process and shared inquiry. The structure provides clarity and direction;  the conversation brings depth. Much of the magic emerges in hearing one another’s stories — women of different backgrounds, ages, and tango journeys recognizing shared patterns and discovering new perspectives.

You will leave with greater awareness of your relational habits, clearer internal alignment, and practical shifts in how you move — emotionally and physically — through tango spaces and your wider life.

Live online.
Small group.
Interactive and facilitated.

Tango In the Tropics -
Women's Tango Retreat

January 11 - 17, 2027, Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic

A 7-day women’s tango immersion held on a mountaintop in the Dominican Republic — surrounded by lush jungle, clear-water beaches below, and the quiet rhythm of hummingbirds and butterflies moving through warm air.

This retreat expands the Women’s Circle into a fully embodied, in-person container — where guided conversation, yoga, and tango intersect in real time.

Across the week, our time together includes:

  • Facilitated Women’s Circle sessions exploring voice, desire, boundaries, belonging, aging, visibility, and embodied feminine presence

  • Daily tango classes rooted in strong fundamentals, relational awareness, and exploration of both roles in tango

  • Yoga and somatic practices designed to support grounding, integration, and nervous system regulation

  • Spacious time for rest, reflection, and meaningful connection

  • Time to explore the surrounding landscape — mountain air above, jungle pathways nearby, and breathtaking beaches below

This is not simply a retreat you attend — it is a container you enter.

In sustained time together, patterns become clearer. Awareness deepens. Insights move from intellectual understanding into embodied experience.

There is depth. There is rigor. And there is space — for movement, for conversation, for stillness, for joy.

The setting itself becomes part of the work: natural beauty, warmth, and expansive views that invite both softness and courage.
