You won’t need any extra time to do this challenge! Each exercise can be incorporated into everything you’re already doing as you go about your day.

What is mindful positivity?

​

The keyword in this sentence is mindful. In the world of personal development & self-growth, there is no shortage of advice on how to create a positive mindset in order to achieve success and happiness. Much of this advice is “just focus on the positive.” While this comes with the best of intentions, when misinterpreted it can create the habit of spiritual bypassing, or pretending like everything is ok, when it is not. This may work for a while, but it is not a sustainable way to feel happy and free, and often requires tons of effort such as morning routines, or hours of meditating and gratitude journaling.

 

When you ground positive-focus work with mindfulness, you can create mindset habits that genuinely cultivate self-compassion, healthy emotional resiliency, and deep healing of the wounds that keep you from feeling aligned, vibrant, and connected to others.

 

In this challenge, I’ve extracted some of my favorite teachings from years of studying personal development, psychology, wellness, coaching, yoga philosophy, and of course personal experience, to create easy-to-digest practices for you to incorporate into your day.

 

Disclaimer: By participating in this challenge I am not implying that your life will transform overnight. You need to actually apply the teachings in order to initiate change. Additionally, deep rewiring of personal emotional patterns can require working with a professional in a one-on-one setting over the course of time. This is the type of work I do in a 3-month coaching setting. However, for this free challenge, my intention is simply to set you on a path towards healing and spark your belief that changing your life profoundly is possible.
